Apologies all. I had some rather witty things to say today regarding cheek bones but have encountered major flare up from old friend who I conquered years ago but drops in to let me know I am still vulnerable now and then. There are measures but like any super hero – must retreat to Bat Cave, Ice Palace etc etc to recharge. Energy very low pain high ..off to rest 100%. My doc reminds me that for as bad as a flare up can be for me I do recover while somewith Fibro live like this always.
Please drop in and see my friend Joss Burnel at crowingcrone.wordpress.com. and link upto her. B.E.W.E.L.L. site. Joss is our resident expert on Fibro and just published a great book on the subject.
Like the Phoenix I shall rise again…..confirmed size effect..drama!
It's been an interesting time adjusting to 'retirement' after a long career in nursing. Forty odd years actually and the challenge has been to try and figure out who I am. It seems that for the largest part of my life I have defined myself as a nurse. More so than a mother, wife etc - you know all those tags we hang on ourselves and for what reason? I am still learning, still searching, and still evolving I guess. At first it all seemed a little confusing, trying to sort out the what and the who and the like. Now it has become a great adventure. I have so many wonderful models that I have met here on Wordpress. It is amazing how close you can feel to those who brave the pages each day or week or month to share a little of themselves.

So sorry to hear you’re not well. My Hub has CFS and many of the symptoms are the same, so I know there’s a lot of pain behind this lighthearted post. Be well soon.
Thanks..feeling a little better..just takes time..my sympathies for your husband..I have managed pretty good since 1986..but still have the odd flare up.

Feel better Chris. I hope this passes quickly because now I am quite intrigued by cheekbones.
